About Us!
Social Service and Advocacy for Everyone

Mission Statement
Catholic Charities partners with others in advocating for justice and in assisting those in need by providing help for today and hope for tomorrow.
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Stockton was founded in 1935 with the idea that everyone, regardless of race, gender, income or religious affiliation deserves to be treated with compassion. Today, Catholic Charities continues to strive to provide social services and advocacy for underserved groups such as immigrants, the poor, children and the frail elderly.
Sometimes the help we give meets the basic needs of food or transportation for those without. Often, the help we provide comes in the form of advocating for justice.
In all, Catholic Charities currently administers 26 different programs in six counties and serves over 70,000 people annually.
