Immigration Legal Services

Catholic Charities is committed to assisting immigrants in becoming fully intergrated into the United States society by promoting fundamental human rights and fostering opportunity for development toward self suffciency and cultural fluency.

Education and Outreach is part of the overall committment to educate the public about immigration legal services in Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Calaveras, Alpine, Mono, Amador, Merced and Mariposa Counties. Education and Outreach provides educational in-service trainings and informational sessions to a staff members and participants of social service agencies and to parent/teacher groups.

Family Family Reunification
Provides assistance to immigrants through low-cost professional and confidential immigration counseling and legal immigration services leading to family reunification.

Naturalization
Provides low cost consultations, legal counseling, and tutoring services to assist legal permanent residents achieve US citizenship. These services are provided by two case consultants accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals.
