Children's Health Initiative

Healthy children are happier and do better in school. Do your children have medical insurance? If not, they may qualify for Healthy Families Insurance or Kaiser Child Health Plan. All children deserve to be healthy.

Children’s Health Initiative is a program supported by Health Plan of San Joaquin and Kaiser Permanente to register eligible uninsured children between the ages of 0 - 19 for health care coverage.

Catholic Charities works with area churches, community centers, hospitals, school districts and other organizations to locate, register and maintain eligible children on Medi-Cal or Healthy Families programs.

Catholic Charities also provides case management and monthly educational classes to parents of newly enrolled children.
